The Habit Burger Grill

The last orders were delayed and arrived 30 minutes late. We were hoping that, on our next visit, things would improve. They provided us with a time estimate before we ordered, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes at the restaurant after that promised time. Even with a staff shortage, it should be possible to estimate an expected arrival time and inform customers before they place their orders. It feels like we were misled just to secure the order. This place used to be exceptional, and it's disappointing to see how much it has declined.

On December 3rd, I placed order #323, and I must say, the kitchen team has outdone themselves! The meal was perfect and truly impressive. The beans were incredibly crispy, and the char was simply the best I've ever had. Great job, and thank you!

The new roasted cauliflower side dish was a refreshing change. I ordered the Sirloin tip sandwich, and it was decent. It was cooked slowly, which made it tender, unlike some other places where it can be tough. The side salad was also quite good.

I love The Habit as a chain. Hands down my favorite place for a burger. Unfortunately, this site does not meet any standards. I was here four times last year. Every time the order counter had garbage, straw wraps and soda spins. The soda station was sticky and the lemonades are almost always out. There were flies in the lobby area and in the kitchen. Finally, every time I eat a Santa Barbara Char at this point, I end up with an annoyed stomach and feel like barfing. Don't come in another place.

I ordered online for curbside pick up. I was traveling with a senior adult and getting in and out of the car is hard for her. I thought curbside pickup would be easier. I arived at the store and parked I clicked on the link to say I arrived. A few minutes later I got a message telling me my food was ready and they will be out shortly. I wanted almost 10 minutes for.the food to come. I finally went inside and got my food. I asked why they didn't come no answer. I am disappointed with the service I received.
