Bob Evans - Huntington

The food at this restaurant is consistently enjoyable, but the service can be hit or miss, likely due to being understaffed. The atmosphere isn't anything remarkable, but it's on par with what you can expect from a Bob Evans location. If you order a steak, be prepared for it to be cooked more than you want; I requested a medium-rare and received something closer to medium-well. While it wasn't inedible, it wasn't exactly what I had in mind. However, the steak and eggs were still quite tasty.

I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. My 12-year-old son and I were left waiting for over 15 minutes before a waitress acknowledged us. An elderly couple sat down next to us and had their orders taken immediately. We were on the verge of leaving when a different waitress finally noticed us and took our order. After that, we waited an additional 45 minutes for our food. Meanwhile, the elderly couple received their meals quickly and enjoyed much better service. My son and I were dressed nicely, so I can't comprehend why we were treated so poorly. As someone who usually tips generously for good service, I'm extremely disappointed. I will never return, and I will be informing my friends and family to steer clear of this establishment. To make matters worse, there seemed to be no manager on duty to address our concerns.

The staff did a great job of managing the flow of guests. We visited on Mother's Day with a group of six and waited much less than we expected. The food was delicious, and our waitress was outstanding.

The only dish I love is the honey chicken dinner. Both me and friend ordered it. Chicken was a little tough this time but usually the best. I will not eat meatloaf, turkey, steak or hamburger meals. They not only do not taste good but looks nothing like those pictures. Soups I have tried are mushy. Cooked carrots I paid $10 for in Ohio overcharged for less than a quart to go. I will never do that again. So far all employees that wait on us are wonderful. Thank you.

My husband and I experienced a delicious meal, and our server was very attentive and polite. The banana bread caught our eye on the way out, so we've been enjoying that for the last few days. We will be back when we return to West Virginia! Wish MN had Bob Evans restaurants!
