Mac's Steakhouse - Huntington

I enjoyed a fantastic porterhouse steak for one, cooked exactly to my liking. The waitstaff were very attentive and knowledgeable. However, I did find the sides, which were advertised as meant for sharing, to be quite lacking. We ordered the rum-baked sweet plantains to share for $8, but in the supermarket, a plantain costs less than a dollar. They brought us out one plantain, which they sliced and served, which was a nice touch, but it felt more like a tasting than a proper portion. For $8, I would have expected a bit more.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was right! I would definitely regain this restaurant. I didn't make a picture of our French onion soup, but that was skrumbling!!

I've visited this place for the second time, and both the service and food were excellent. I highly recommend trying the mussels and the lobster mac and cheese. I absolutely love this restaurant!

I took my wife out to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Porterhouse pork chop—it's a beautifully thick cut with minimal bone. My wife had the surf and turf. We also shared a delightful order of fresh mozzarella and tomatoes along with a light spinach salad, and we couldn’t resist getting a side of mac and cheese. Our server, Ryan, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making it a fantastic experience overall. Oh, and a glass of Malbec pairs perfectly with just about everything!

Fantastic food and atmosphere! I would definitely return! The cheesecake was incredible!
