Maki Sushi - Huntington

This is not the fanciest of sushi places, but I think it's a lovely little corner, and I hope it stays so. I have tried their sushi rolls for lunch you know, quick lunch but still flavorful and traditional and I keep returning. It's kind of a self serve place. You order, you find a seat and you do your thing. They're not constantly catering to you, but I love how peaceful it feels and I usually leave satisfied with the food. This place is not for crowds, just kind of low key lunches for one or two.

Horrible, tempura shrimp from Costco, everything in the bento box is from the freezer. The only thing that was decent was the California roll. Very disappointedFood: 1/5

I never ever write reviews about a restaurant because I do not like to sound negative. However, for this one I have to. Staff was completely rude, did not know how to use the computer, and did not even know their own products. I got angry looks for no reason. The guy taking my order took literally one minute and 25 seconds to put an order of shrimp tempura and miso soup in the computer screen and the other worker in the store was bullying him. Weird toxic environment, never going back.
