Ahoyama Sushi Rolls - Hurst

Great service, Excellent and Fresh Sushi. Nice selection for Habachi, Sushi, Saki and Hot/kitchen. My new go to restaurant in this area.

Don't order like you would at a normal sushi place this is the most americanized and super sized sushi I've ever seen. It's not a bad thing, just set expectations accordingly. Nigiri pieces were HUGE, 3x the size I'm used to. When you order a roll, the maki themselves only played a modest part in a massive, overflowing entree option. Overall it was a fresh take on sushi. There is quality sacrificed for quantity but you get a lot for your money.

The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the girl managing the to-go and delivery section seemed to be in need of some assistance. Let's give her a hand, everyone!

Everything is fresh at this restaurant. Even the crab salad California roll is made with real crab instead of imitation crab. Lunch here offers great value. I ordered the sushi and sashimi bento, which comes with miso soup and salad—served in generous portions that could almost make it a meal on its own.

I recently moved an hour away to Mesquite, but I’m willing to drive from the other side of Dallas whenever I crave sushi. This place is my go-to; I hardly eat sushi anywhere else, and I've never been let down. I absolutely love Ahoyama!
