I moved my loyalty to the new chick fil a, when it opened. Now that everyone has new management and ownership, I'm coming back to this one! Enjoyed meeting the new owner and manager, and excited that they are making this location great again!!!
I am on the go a lot and as such find myself ordering at fast food places often. Over the past few years it seems 'customer service ' has all but been forgotten ESPECIALLY at these kinds of establishments. I have gotten so used to pulling up and hearing 'yeah ' over the speaker then after placing my order I hear a quick 'pull around ' before driving to the window and not having a word spoken to me as my payment is accepted and I am handed my food. NOT A WORD. So it was not only refreshing but borderline shocking when I pulled in and hear 'Hi, welcome to Chick-fil-a, what can I get ya today? ' You can hear the smile behind the microphone as I am greeted. I place my order, am not rushed and then have the order repeated back to me in an upbeat manner along with my total. When I got to the window, still in shock I ran my card using their awesome touch-free routine they have implemented then stared straight ahead in my truck waiting for my food. After a moment of silence the lady working the window asked 'How are you doing today? ' With a big Texas smile. It caught me off guard. I said, 'I 'm sorry, what was that? ' She repeated 'How are you doing today? ' Again with a smile. I chuckled and said 'I 'm doing great, just on my lunch break ' she replied as she was handing me my food, 'How wonderful! Well, you enjoy your meal and have a great rest of your day! ' I cannot begin to describe to you how awesome that little interaction was. It reminded me of that long lost 'Valued Customer ' feeling we all used to get everywhere we went. I work near this restaurant and now go there almost exclusively for my lunch breaks, different employees, same exact experience, every time. I applaud Chick-fil-a and their employees for the wonderful service they provide, and for making me a loyal (valued) customer.
