Souper Salad - Hurst

This is a fresh and impeccably clean salad bar restaurant. I enjoyed the crisp, pre-mixed spinach and fruit salad, topped with a deliciously sweet and savory dressing. You can create your own salad with an extensive selection of toppings that are always fresh and well-maintained! The buffet offers a delightful variety of breads, soups, a nacho/taco bar, as well as whole baked sweet potatoes and regular baked potatoes. And don’t forget the dessert bar! You can choose from ice cream, strawberry shortcake, brownies, and a wide array of toppings—all for less than $8! You’ve got to check this place out; if you leave feeling hungry, it’s entirely on you!

The restaurant is under new management, and I must say, everything has changed for the better! It’s fantastic. The place is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and I particularly love the seasonal soups and salads. It's definitely a great spot to enjoy a meal!

Overall, it's a decent place. However, don't be misled into thinking that all the options are healthy; not everything on the menu is health-conscious. One downside is that I had to pay extra for a drink I didn’t want just to access the buffet. The food is tasty, but we’ll probably opt for a place where we can eat for $8 or $9 per person next time, regardless of whether we want a soda or not. Also, we chose not to tip our 'waitress' because the service didn’t really feel like traditional waitressing.

Absolutely delicious! The salad was crisp and vibrant, with all the toppings being fresh, cold, and perfectly prepared. Nothing looked wilted or warm at all. The various potato salads and pickled salads were all delightful! The soup was also great, with about five different options, all of which were tasty. While it wasn't anything extraordinary, it was definitely satisfying. Unfortunately, the bread was a little stale, but when I mentioned it, they quickly brought out fresh loaves. There were baked potatoes with plenty of toppings, delicious desserts, and a wide selection of drinks. Overall, it was well worth the price and very filling!
