Chatime - Hurstville

HATED IT! I went to Chatime Hurstville train station along Forest Road. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! It was my daughter’s 18th Birthday today and the server wouldn't allow my daughter to claim a free birthday drink because my daughter did not bring an ID card with a photo of herself because previously she hadn't needed one to claim the free Birthday drink. The server did not even try to contact her manager when I asked to speak to him and I was clearly upset and frustrated. The server was completely rude to me and my daughter and she had no manners. I showed her many cards including my daughter’s medicare card and her library card which did not have a photo on them but it was still not enough. I had clearly identified my daughter as the owner of the Chatime card but she rudely repeated what she had said before and said no. I clearly had no other form of identity available and this is the closest Chatime to my house which is still far away but the server’s lack of consideration and unpleasant attitude made the experience completely horrible. I've previously had trouble with this Chatime store but I had forgiven the incident. I had received a Chatime that did not taste the way it should be (I often buy that certain flavoured drink) but the server would not allow me to get a new one even though I had only taken 1 sip. The server was too proud saying that I was questioning his ability to make a drink. But I was honestly saying that this drink I had received did not taste the way it should be but he still refused to make me a replacement drink. Displeased with the service and unsatisfied, I left with the disgusting drink discarding it in the nearest bin but had forgiven their bad customer service. At the rate that this is going I never want to buy a drink from Chatime ever again

Quick service, polite staff. Buy one, get one half price special is pretty good. Tea was good, really hard to stuff up an ice tea... mmmm tapioca pearls.
