Bamboo Hyannis

Ordered 1 sushi roll, one sushi bar item, 1 egg roll 1 Shanghai pan fried noodle dish and 1 General Gau’s chicken. $75 for the smallest portions and flavorless Asian food I’ve ever eaten. Please do not throw good money away here. They weren’t even polite , no thank you , no smile back , a very strange vibe. The food was Luke warm and we were there 16 minutes after ordering. I honestly don’t know how you can even make Asian food so bland but not one dish had any flavor, or care. The noodles were not pan fried, they were dry deep fried noodles served on the side . The meats and shrimp and veggies should have had enough sauce to wet the noodle down but there was hardly any sauce. I guess that’s a good thing since it tasted like brown colored water thickened with corn starch. The chicken is supposed to be crispy and spicy hot- they were soggy and no spice or flavor. The sushi roll was the smallest and thinnest roll I have ever seen- The building is beautiful with flowers and fountains and fish tanks. Such a shame that the food is worse then what you would expect from a tired, old strip mall with a counter and big blow up photos of the dishes on the menu and bars separating you from the cashier.

Bamboo is a beautiful place. Very nice experience. Staff was very attentive. There is plenty of seating and a full bar. The food is great and presentation very nice. Sushi is great quality and delicious. If you like Sake they have plenty to choose from. If you are in or near Hyannis on Cape Cod, then treat yourself to a great experience here. We will go here again!!!

I’m Chinese, and out of all the Asian and Sushi restaurants I’ve been this is by far one of the best! The environment and staff are nice, and the food arrangement is very professional. Sushi is very fresh!

Fiona! What a wonderful waitress she is! She made our experience memorable. The food was very fresh and I loved the shrimp in rice paper, they were delish! Everything was super good. Their sushi bar is the best! I will be going back there! Everyone had a great time!
