I'm amazed this place is still openWent there several months ago and the food was terrible.
We dropped in for a quick feed and a drink. Its pretty small inside with few tables and a bar area, but a nice small balcony area at the front. The staff were pretty good and service ok. Doesn't deserve the bad reviews.
The only reason to add anymore on this place is to add characters to the review.. Avoid at all costs. Rubbish food. Lazy staff. Rude management.
We came her for lunch yesterday. It's always a bit of a worry when in the middle of lunch service on a weekend there is only one occupied table in the venue but we thought perhaps that was since it was 'new' and decided to give it a shot. Big mistake! We ordered two focaccias for lunch. They came out to the table rather quickly. The chicken focaccia was swimming in mayonnaise and despite being 'toasted' the chicken was still quite cold. The avocado was ripe and the sun dried tomato gave it a bit of flavour but I could have done a better job making my own focaccia at home. There was no greenery or garnish on the plate just a focaccia cut in half. The problem was the second focaccia. As the waitress dropped it off at the table she knocked over the bottle of water and it flooded the plate. Without even an apology she picked it back up and walked away. 60seconds later the kitchen bell dinged and she returned the focaccia to our table. It had literally been picked up off the water logged plate and plonked onto a fresh one but the bottom of the focaccia was completely soggy. When we complained and asked for a fresh one the focaccia once again disappeared to the kitchen and returned within 2 minutes with a fresh (untoasted) lid but the same soggy base that they clearly had tried to dry out under the grill (if anything). It was INEDIBLE!We asked for the bill and this is where it gets even more incredible! They tried to charge us for the water logged focaccia. When we stated that half was completely inedible they then charged us for half of it. There was no apology. No eye contact from the waitress resentfully serving us and if there was a manager in the building they made no effort to come and apologist for the poor service and food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! At $11 and over for a simple focaccia this place will go out of business soon, particularly if they don't care about their service or the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. It's not hard to make a sandwich and throwing out a water logged one (due to the staff's clumsiness) and starting again should not break the business budget. I plan to tell everyone to avoid this place!
