Review. Vivi’s venues, I’m not a florist! I unfortunately ordered my wedding flowers months ago from this lady after meeting her at Oaklands wedding fair. I can only give an honest review on the flowers I received. They’re absolutely shocking!!! I sent a picture of the flowers I liked over to Louise and she said no problem. Gave me a quote which specifically said to include calla lilies and all was agreed. Fortunately I collected mine early. The quality of the work is not good at all. I didn’t say anything when I picked them up as it was in the middle of a wedding fair and they were all in a box so couldn’t really inspect them. Was this planned, I don’t know ‍ I’ve been in touch with Louise through email to discuss the issues and attempted to resolve them. No lilies she forgot Poor quality of work she’s not a florist. Foam flowers the original picture was foam flowers (no it wasn’t) Glue absolutely everywhere no answer to that Flowers falling out of my bouquet. I decided to take my flowers to a professional florist to see if they can be salvaged as I only have 14 days available to get them all done. Not enough time to start again. I told her all of this. She offered to take them back for a refund but as I said, no time for me to start them again. She also offered to sort them out but honestly, after the state of them and her only excuse being ‘I’m not a florist’ I’d rather a professional see what she can do to try and salvage my wedding now. I asked for a refund minus the cost of materials she’s used as my flowers were now with a professional to see what could be saved. Failing that I asked for her to pay the bill of them being professionally fixed (if they even can be) I was offered a pathetic 20% back. If you want poor quality flowers and terrible customer service for one of the most important days of your life, take your chance with Vivi’s venues I’m adding this to Oaklands as when you google Vivi’s venues this is what comes up. I know she works out of there but not sure if the business is registered there tbh

Lovely place for a lovely wedding. The place is easy to find and very nice. The staff is very friendly and took great care of our party.

I hired this venue for a funeral, the price was very reasonable and the food was to a very high standard, i booked the orangery which is a beautifully furnished light airey room with plenty of space. The staff were very attentive and were on hand to help with anything we needed. I would recommend for any event.

Liv and her team were amazing. Oaklands have just hosted my Fathers funeral/wake and from start to finish nothing has been too much trouble allowing the event to run like clockwork. The Venue is excellent and has great facilities and the food produced by Matteo was first class. I would highly recommend Oaklands and it’s staff.
