Just by going through the restaurant lists. I found this restaurant and luckily got in the restaurant without checking reviews and all.And when I got in, I was amazed by the restaurant vibes and ambience. I went there on sunday and there was a live music on.Enjoyed food and live music too.I ordered paneer kulcha, lassi.Lassi is a must try.
Ordered Multani paneer masala, butter naans and lime soda. The curry was fantastic and had a bit of Tangy and spicy flavour. Overall interms of presentation, taste and flavoursomeness I'd rate the curry outstanding. But the quantity was a bit off let down fot the price. However, they made up for it with 3 prices of naans which I believe is vfm. Lime soda was a good cooling agent and helped gulp all the food down. Will visit again soon.<br/ <br/ Ps: Had a bit of difficulty in locating the restaurant as gmaps led to an abandoned open area. Precisely the restaurant is located behind grand trunk road.
The word Dildaar literally means sweetheart and this place is definitely a sweetheart when it comes to Punjabi food. On entering the place you will feel like you have just entered a village in Punjab with thatched huts. There are dimly lit cages which gives the authentic feel. Once you enter the restaurant the waiters will greet you in full Punjabi Pathani attires. And the moment you sit down there are chulhas and mud pots all around and you feel like you are sitting inside a Punjabi house. Even the cutlery is exactly like those in the Punjabi homes and makes you completely immerse yourself in the place.
My fourth visit here and I would love to come back here. My regular orders here are non veg platter, pudina naan, mutton Rogan josh, chicken butter masala, and the best at the last is their patiala lassi!! Would definitely recommend this place for all Punjabi food lovers!
