A totally unpleasant getaway in this restaurant overlooking the small port. sea pot, delicious tuna tartar, very good wine with glass. Lovely service. the limoncello chef's house has made forget the few approximations in the order-taking!
You did it. The waiter told me there were no nuts or peanuts in the dishes I had ordered (Italian salad, fish) and when the food arrived, I checked twice, and they had cooked all fish with peanut oil and there were pine nuts in the salad!!! At that time I had already eaten the bread and sauce beside the fish in peanut oil. The waiter DENIED was informed about my allergy. Unbelievable. Then, when we got the bill, I politely asked about a « act of apology » on her side (e.g. discount). What happened here was terrible: The boss (who also seems to be the manager of the restaurant) came out of the kitchen and began screaming at me, told me that he had already done enough by cooking in olive oil. Very unpleasant. I'm still shocked after this experience. Avoid this place when you have food allergies...
Location is Paradise: a tiny unpretentious port in Port Cros, where the ground is still made from beaten earth. The staff is friendly and fresh sea products are available. We were disappointed with the cooking of the fish, which was a bit dry and the deserts. They offered us homemade Limoncello, but I didn't like it.
Wonderful location on this beautiful island. The food is incredibly good homemade and fresh. The delicious grilled fish came with ratatouille, potatoes, seaweed and onions. Our waitress was very friendly. (And everything came to a very reasonable price!
