Burgo Wine Cellar - Iaşi

Dined on a couple of occasions as it was we didn't have to leave the hotel,in hindsight maybe we should have chosen more wisely?The restaurant was intimate but brightly lit with low ceilings.The menu was well presented but kinda limited for choice the one menu ran throughout the day which was a shame as a lighter one for lunch would have been nice.It was how ever very nice to watch the chefs at work through the glass ceiling to floor wall.The food was well presented but didn't set the world alight it was a shame.For a five star establishment I was some how expecting more.The service seemed painfully slow at times with very little finesse those extra little touches that make all the difference.The food was hit n miss bread rolls warm one day n not the next? The chicken pie case hot n crispy one day but not the next. As hotel restaurants go it wasn't bad but it all so wasn't great!! Your a five star Hotel show off!!!!! The service just isn't five star!!!

Really good food, waiter very polite and able to recommend something. I loved ,,Tigaie de pui,, or something like that.

We had a nice traditional Romanian food cource. Excellent. A nice experience of a cultural trip into the national main dishes, with quality and passions. From starters to desserts.Only disappointing note the fact that smoking is allowed in such a nice restaurant. Very disapproving attitute unhealthy and disturbing.

Well prepared and presented modern interperetation of local dishes. And at very reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive service.
