Mama Ope Restaurants - Ibadan

Mama Ope has consistently offered delicious food over the years, whether you're enjoying traditional swallow dishes or continental cuisine. However, there is some poor coordination between the service staff and the kitchen regarding food availability. I visited yesterday, January 19, 2023. The food was still tasty, but the options were somewhat limited. Surprisingly, it wasn't as crowded as it used to be, probably due to the time of my visit, but there were plenty of takeaway customers. It seems that Iya Ọpẹ is still upholding a great reputation. The ambiance is decent, and there is ample parking space.

Food is so good but the proteins are VERY EXPENSIVE, snail is 3k and a slice of fish at 2k , the pricing for proteins are odd but the efo riro and pounded yam is solid

I highly recommend Iya Ope for authentic local cuisine that offers a true taste of the region.

The place is over priced and over hyped. The 3k snail is too expensive for just 1 piece The bokoto is usually too strong and the food really doesn't taste as nice

It is a very good place to eat good food. But the standard is not as before.
