Cardamom Indian - Idaho Falls

We found this place on Yelp after stopping in Idaho Falls for the night with our two young boys. It was delicious! We ordered the garlic naan, cauliflower pakora, butter chicken, and aloo gobi mattar. Between the four of us, it was plenty of food, and we finished it all. We stopped in right before opening, and they seated us, as they continued to get ready for the dinner rush. They were fabulously kind, and the food was delicious. Great stop!

Everything was so good!I came here for the first time during lunch with a friend Cardamom did not disappoint.From service to the meal itself, everything exceeded my expectations. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and welcoming feel of the restaurant.The lunch specials were a great deal. Each plate is $14.99 but you get to choose 3 items off the lunch board. I opted for the Chicken Tikka Masalla, Butter Chicken Channa Puri (Garbanzo Beans). The sweet waitress asked if I liked my food spicy I replied with an immediate, yes! She brought over some chili oil and it brought the dishes to another level.The lunch serving is very filling but you can receive a free refill of one of your dish options, if you choose.I 'm excited to come back for dinner at some point to explore the options not found on the lunch menu. Until then, the lunch options are well worth it and I 'll be adding Cardamom to my normal rotation.

My wife and I just ate here and it was amazing. She has to be gluten-free and they were able to cater to that. The service was great, the folks in there are so friendly. It has a quiet enjoyable atmosphere. And the best part was the food; it is the best meal I have eaten out at for the last six months! We will be coming back several more times!

Traveling from Montana through Idaho to Utah. We found Cardamom on Yelp and called to see if they were open and they were. So we ordered take out. It was ready in 20 minutes We got an order of Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, a house Salad, and. Warm, home made Naan with Paneer. I'll start with the less than good- the salad was very small, but the dressing was terrific. I would not order the salad again, tho as it was a really small. The Butter Chicken was a 9 out of ten, so was the Tikka Masala. Wonderfully spiced and decent sized portions. The Tandoori, however, was off the charts- the proverbial 11. A leg and thigh seasoned perfectly and roasted perfectly so that there were dry, crunchy bits to add counterpoint to the crazy soft, juicy meat near the bone. The accompanying melange of red and green peppers, onions, greens and seasoned oil were manna. I could eat that at least 100 times and not be tired of it. If you are passing through Idaho Falls, I think you should grab a bite from Cardamom. I'll eat there again. Oh, and the Naan was amazing, too!

First time visiting. The waiter took the time and explained to us the food and the options. Food was delicious!!! Meet my expectation, I will be coming back.
