Yummy Chinese - Idaho Falls

The food here is incredible! Don't pay attention to the few negative reviews; those people clearly don't appreciate good food. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and I can't wait to return. The service was excellent, even with a line out the door. It's a charming family-owned business, and I highly recommend it!

Despite the busyness, our waitress was incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job of ensuring that no one was left waiting for drink refills. The standout of our meal was definitely the food. My fiancé and I absolutely loved the General Tso's Chicken! It had a perfect crunch, and the chicken wasn't dry at all – the sauce was bursting with flavor. My egg flower soup was tasty as well; I added a bit of salt and pepper, but that’s how I grew up enjoying it. The BBQ Pork Hong Kong Chow Mein was delicious too! I’m a fan of crispy noodles, so I order that whenever I can. The pork was slightly dry, so I think I’ll try the House Special version next time. We also ordered the beef broccoli, which surprisingly ended up being our least favorite dish, although it was still good! The only downside was that we tried to dine in last Friday around 8:30 PM and found out the restaurant closes at 8 PM. That was a bit of a letdown since the menu and Google Maps stated it was open until 9:30 PM. If you’re planning to eat a bit later, I recommend calling ahead to confirm the hours. When it comes to Chinese restaurants in town, Yummy House is definitely the best. I highly recommend checking it out!

The food and service here are always excellent and reliable! I usually order the Mongolian beef lunch, while my wife opts for the Mongolian chicken.

It wasn't good, the food or the service. Take out, get some proper containers!!! The take out leaked out into the bag and onto the car seats. Ordered fried rice and got white rice. I didn't have the time to go back, it's frustrating! I'm about done typing for takeout as well

Yen and her team do an amazing job. We enjoy The visits with her, the large portions, and great tasting food. Soft relaxing music in a traditional setting makes this a great lunch or dinner spot.
