Taverna Lusitana - Idanha-A-Nova

What a great experience they offer. The room was close to everything. Me and my partner parked the car at the upper parking and walked here. We packed everything in a small suitcase so that we won't have to worry about dragging heavy luggage. It was a steep, but very scenic 8 mins walk from the parking. Somehow we thought there would be an airconditioning, and there isn't. But, they have 3 fans and secure window screens. So we left them open, and it was cool inside by 10pm. The interior was fun and sparkling clean. The location was away from the possibe party places and quiet. The host was friendly and helpful. I cannot ask for any better. Thank you very much for having us.

Depois de uma longa caminhada até o castelo, fomos e o serviço foi maravilhoso. Delicioso aperitivo que comemos! Provámos o hidromel que estava delicioso e a esplanada com excelentes vistas sobre a cidade. Voltaremos sem hesitação!

Absolutely phenomenal service and one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Wine was great and a very affordable price! Was there earlier in the day as well for coffee and pastries. Nothing about this place was a disappointment! I highly recommend it to visitors!

If they enjoy good eating in a fantastic location and an evening with a good bottle of local wine (where a local artist sits in a corner and quiet colors) this is the place for them. owners and his wife are the nicest people they will ever meet and all this is very affordable.
