Feedback gevenBad food, squalid place with beoni. If this is Sardinia... We'll never come back. Not the only place so combined. Cursed, they don't speak any language, uncomfortable for our foreign friends, they don't know what hospitality means and they don't know how to cook, then drunken everywhere. What brunch? These only see sheep and cheese.
Ferragosto evening in Iglesias... historical center populated among tourists and residents...local practically all with good attendance... we decide to eat something in this pub with the tables in the square. About 21:30. First impact with the waitress: we ask for the availability of a table for four and tells us that he did not know if there were previous reservations...after a few minutes he makes us sit. There will have been, yes and no, about ten small tables occupied for less than half. We sit down and after a few minutes we get the menu. In the meantime that we consulted the paper we noticed that the two waiters (unprofessional evidence, much less professional... they went and came with their hands and did not approach, nor were they engaged with other customers. After about ten minutes, a waiter comes and asks us if we were ready to order and collects drinks. After about ten minutes he brings us drinks and collects food orders: two bruschettes, a hamburger and chips. They spend about twenty minutes, half an hour and noting the two waiters who went and came from the tables inside the room (kitchen ... we are allowed ( calling several times to point out our presence asking if it still takes so much time to prepare our dishes. In response we were told that they were unable to know....so long as, a spaced aptitude, one of us stood up to go inside the club to ask for news of our courses... seen that it was now spent an hour since we had settled. But even in this case the answers were evasive... and, anyway, after a dozen minutes, come two of our dishes: bruschettes. After another five minutes the dish comes with the burger and chips. We immediately noticed the waitress gone, that we missed the cutlery and napkins...so, after several attempts to attract the attention of the waitresses (who, as mentioned before, wandered empty between the tables... Finally one of the two looks at us having accidentally intercepted our call and, without approaching the table, collects our request for cutlery and napkins... pass the minutes and nothing, bring us nothing... although we had also noticed that, cutlery and napkins were under their eyes in a small table in the square, presumably to be at hand of the waiters... but nothing. After several minutes one of us has stood up and took directly the cutlery from the above table....Insomma a service not only absent, but an absolutely indisposable behavior... all the contrary of the reception. That personally (being a particularly serious accused resident, given the local socio-economic condition (Sulcis-iglesiente depressa and that always lies to an effective receptive-touristic vocation... surely facilitated by the territory, by nature, by the coasts and, specifically by the centenary history of Iglesias... where, moreover, the evening attended many visitors, also recalled by the traditional parade of the canieridel. To conclude we finally left the place with the bitterness of a 'negative experience that we would never have expected and that, personally I regret having to describe in its disastrous management by the staff everything, of this place. We therefore trust that the reading of what is written here, by the manager, can serve to give a rule for the future...because the purpose of the writing does not appear as a lamentela fine to itself...
An old well-kept place dedicated to great music. Great for a spritz with friends and some meat dinner.
Cosy place, rustic food, very nice owner, poor service, very funny pub atmosphere
Not knowing where to bang your head and not wanting to go home, we stopped for dinner at the Breakfast. The place over time has overwhelmed its origin and today presents itself as a mix of styles with thread conductor music. The day, Monday, was not crowded, but we were served immediately and the dishes, however simple, were well cooked: burgers with potatoes and traditional sebadas, very good. However for many years a guarantee.
