Friday night, so I understand it can be busy But in that case, don't tell me "15-20" minute delivery time and then take 50 minutes..

Great place. After travelling 5 hours through a vicious late April snowstorm on my way from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg, the roads and weather finally cleared just before Ignace and I needed a break and some decent food. Hamburgers and club sandwiches don't cut it if you're going to be in the saddle for a long drive. I'm a big fan of Chinese food but I wasn't expecting anything great in a small northern Ontario town. I just wanted some stir fried veggies and protein. The New Shanghai delivered! Not just OK but terrific. Being by myself I just ordered a single dish (chicken chow mein). As good as anything or better I've had in Toronto, Vancouver or Ottawa. Fresh veggies, soft but still crisp, tender chunks of chicken, a tasty balanced sauce, served hot to my table along with good green tea. I know good Chinese food and this was it. The owner's father was visiting his daughter and joined me at my table. Terrific guy and a fun conversation with his halting English and my limited knowledge of China. I guarantee that if I ever pass through Ignace again I will return.

I am new to Ignace ontario and thought I'd try the chinese place in town. I went in and it was nice and clean. I ordered a bunch of food for take out and it was amazing. The owner is a great person too, very nice place she runs. Hot fresh food at a good price. You won't be disappointing.
