La Chaumieere - Île-aux-Moines

Almost certainly the best food, not the best galette but the best food I have eaten all year, and I’m not some malnourished, ill-educated, uncultured baffoon, we travel a lot, eat out regularly and I’m a trained chef; the tartiflette galette was a thing of beauty, truly inspired and perfectly executed. It was so darned tasty we actually had to come back two days in a row! My wife had two complets and we ate a total of three salted caramel crêpes which were also delicious. Of course it’s set in a beautiful spot, on a beautiful island and the weather has been beautiful and virtually everything was perfect, staff charming etc. It was an excellent all round experience, I hope that if you’re reading this that you had/have a similar experience.

Tried to eat at the restaurant in our group of family members and was turned away even though there was hardly anyone there. The reason was that they don't accept groups!

Nice staff with a lot of humor. Excellent pancakes and cakes. Adorable with the elders. Frankly, I recommend!

We took two pancakes to taste it. These were very good and very warm service. I recommend!

A very good place to taste delicious cakes and pancakes, we have already come several times and we have never been disappointed with the galettes proposed. Warm atmosphere, quality/price ratio very correct!
