Padaria Pastelaria Iris - Ílhavo

Tasty and crunchy Bread!! It is cheap and the main dishes are a good choice before you go to the beautiful beach upfront. Though you shouldn’t dine in because the service is uncommitted and very slow. Anyway the bread is making up for the stuff.

Passing this Padaria Pasteleria Íris on our way from the beach we stopped there just to grab some bakery products for dinner and we were well surprised. We didn´t expected too much especially in the evening but I must say there was still wide choice of pastry, cakes and bakery products. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were very satisfied with our visit.

There hasn’t been once that we’ve eaten here that my bill has been correct. Luckily, it’s easy to grab a menu and calculate what I owe, myself, but there is no way a customer should have to do that. Food is so-so. Toast is much too dry and dense.

This was a very disappointing experience in friendly Portugal. No attention to us (customers). Took 30 minutes to get very bad cappuccinos. Don’t go here. Go to Milano, across the street.

Fair breakfast but spoiled by very abrupt and staff at the till. There many places with similar or better meals and friendly staff.
