The Ploughman’s Lunch was fantastic! The toasted cheese was absolutely delicious!

We were warmly greeted by the cheerful staff upon entering the partially filled restaurant, and they quickly took our order. However, it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and one person's meal was missing. The toasted sandwiches we received were delicious, but there was no explanation for the long wait. They then hurriedly brought out the missing meal, but that took another 15 minutes. The young staff seemed to be doing their best, so I decided not to remove the 10% service charge. I’m sorry, front of house; I’m not sure what went wrong, but improvements are definitely needed!

I dined in for lunch and had a great experience overall. The price per person was between £10 and £20, which I found to be quite reasonable. The food was excellent, earning a solid 4 out of 5 for its quality and flavor. The service was also impressive, with attentive staff who were friendly and efficient, giving them another 4-star rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant contributed to the enjoyable experience as well, with a pleasant environment that complemented the meal nicely. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a casual lunch outing!
