Les Aubepines - Illiers-Combray

This is such a lovely comfortable hotel so glad we found it. Unpretentious but offering everything you could want. A warm welcome from the owner followed by a very nice evening meal and good wine. Our room in the new building was very comfortable and spotless. Overall a, great place to stay and highly recommended

Traditional food presented well. The weekday formule offers excellent value, the Saturday menu is a touch more adventurous but still reasonably priced. The service is both friendly and professional.

Les Aubepines recalls the famous hawthorns of Proust. The restaurant is located near the train station in Illiers-Combray, and it is a wonderful place to have a good, solid lunch after seeing this famous Proust destination. Our small group had an excellent meal, with service by the owner; we also enjoyed warm madeleines made authentically by a local artisan. The restaurant really takes one back to the good old days of French provincial restaurants, where the decor and the atmosphere are half the fun.

La quantité et qualité sont au rendez-vous, merci Chef !Nous aurions préféré un décor plus chaleureux, il est moderne et surtout un sourire de la patronne au service.

Apres quelques mois absence, j'ai eu l'occasion de revenir a cette hotel.J'ai testé les chambres du nouveau batiment, AU TOP.On priviligie la qualité que la quantité.. nikel..
