On my first trip to iloilo I knew that I wanted to try what vegan options were. although mostly vegetarian, this place had still a lot of directed to choose. very simple, cheap and tasty. it was a good first place to try.
We arrived at 18 o'clock and there were hardly any possibilities from the buffet. I guess there are more options during lunchtime, and eating would also be fresher. had a few dishes from the vegan options, and they were okay. burger was pretty nice! there are some suppening that they prepare fresh, it is worth asking if they are vegan. eating is super cheap.
One of the bestsellers is a soup called 'La Paz Batchoy '. Batchoy is famous in the area because it is traditionally made with pork guts, chicken guts, and beef guts (You don 't want to know! Look it up here: https: en.wikipedia.org wiki Batchoy). Veggie Delight 's version has absolutely no meat. They only put vegetarian meat substitutes, which may contain gluten. The noodles are made with eggs and other ingredients. They have vegetarian versions of other local Filipino food, such as sisig, valenciana, and lomi. Their fruit shakes are made with cow 's milk, but they will use soy milk if you ask them. They also sell veggie burgers, which don 't taste too bad. Prices are very affordable. Friendly staff.
Tasty vegan burger, other vegan dishes available just ask before. pure vegetarian restaurant, such places are rare in Iloilo, worth to support. friendly stuff
