It was a rainy morning but we planned for the Indigo Festival as the weather seemed to be holding out. I follow their Facebook page and had been checking for updates and there was nothing about any changes so we figured it was still on. We got there at 1 and all the food trucks had left and many vendors were closed or packing up. Real bummer considering we drove an hour away! I would have loved to experience all of the beauty, just think they could have put an update on their social media to let people know. My suggestion is just to make sure you call first to find out their hours, if you plan to take a drive!
Great time guaranteed !Lavendar daze fest in July and the second Lavendar festival is on the first August weekend. It does wrap up quickly at 5 PM. However, the farm store remains open for a little more time, they are very accomodating. You can get an entire bunch of lavendar and pluck them yourself..be wary of bees :p It is for $18 if you don't want to go for that then entry for single person is $7.5 for exploring the farm and festival.Plenty of yummy food options vegan as well. Beautiful jewelery and Tees/ oils/ linen spray/ body butter/ cuticle balm/ shampoo and conditioner balms/ bath bombs and so much more.
Beautiful and so peaceful. We had dinner, and it was amazing. 100% a go.
The admission is &7.50 and $5 for senior. You got to purchase tickets in their store, which is very inviting and well taken care of. Lady working there was nice, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We were impressed by the lavender fields. This place is a place of beauty and peace. They also have a u pick available.
This place was super awesome! It was my first time going, and I was impressed by how well everything was put together. There was live music playing all day, different types of food trucks, Ice cold lavender lemonades (made from scratch I should add), and TONS of different venders. They had art and jewelry, jams and cookies, and clothes, hats, and bags; All of which are hand-made. You get to cut and pick your own bundle and they have a tent to where, if you wanted to, you could turn your bundle into a fresh-smelling wreath. They only had a few things for the kiddos, but there was plenty of room to roam and run around. Overall, it was a super fun experience and I can't wait to stop by again soon.
