Tubby's Sub Shop - Imlay City

Absolutely delicious! We tried the cheese and steak sandwich along with the jalapeño poppers on our first visit, and I can't wait to come back for the steak sub. The jalapeño poppers were also fantastic, filled with cream cheese and cheddar!

The restaurant rarely seems to be open when expected, and there have been quite a few staff-related issues that are unfortunate. They close on Saturdays at 2 p.m.

The service was excellent, but the sub was mostly bread. There were only two thin slices of ham on the bottom. It felt like a small portion for the price. Overall, not a big issue.

Owners really need to hire some employees. A person who works hardest to stay on Sunday doesn't work. He was super friendly and outraged about the situation. He deserves a huge increase.

Walked in and ordered for take out. Service was good as was the food. Manager apologized for the slow service, but it wasn't slow. Sandwiches were very good!
