Claude’s Le Cafe De Ville - Inauayan

An established fine dining place located in the heart of Davao city. Give their steaks a try. Parking could be an issue so you might end up parking by the road.

Claude's Le Cafe de Ville is a French cuisine restaurant located in the heart of Davao City Poblacion. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Oboza ancestry house. Claude's has retained the charm of the old house with its old wooden interiors and furnishings. They have a simple but impressive menu. Their cheese platter and medium well steaks are my personal favorites. Their prices are much more expensive but are quite worth it.

One of the best meals we had in Davao. I personally love restaurants situated in ancestral houses because of the unique ambiance. Their staff are nice and attentive and the experience was made more special with Mr. Claude's presence and being involved with the dining operation. We left so full as the servings were huge. We highly recommed dining here when in Davao City.

Too sad to know that this place has closed already. I went to Manila for around seven months last year and when I came back, the first thing I wanted to do was to dine at Claude's. To my surprise, I found out that the restaurant stopped its operations a long time ago. Still posting this review to tell everyone that once upon a time, Davao has a great homegrown resto Claude's.
