You enter through the side and walk to the back patio, which is comfortable and features a spacious area with trees where you can walk your dog. There are plenty of tables with umbrellas for shade during the summer, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall. The servers were friendly, though they did mix up our orders. When the bill arrived, our first server quickly recognized the mistake when I pointed it out, and he handled it promptly and courteously. We shared a full rack of ribs, which were decent—not overly sauced—and they came with a side of coleslaw. It was good, but again, just sort of "meh." The BLT was well-constructed but lacked mayo; however, I’m sure they would have provided some, and there was a nice selection of condiments on each table. The standout dish for us was the waffle-cut fries—warm and delicious. The gyro was average, with the fries still being the highlight. I can see how this place might consistently deliver just an "okay" experience—neither good nor terrible, just satisfactory. For many patrons, that might be just fine, but for me, I was hoping for something a bit better.
Crosby's is a true staple in Incline Village. They offer a wide-ranging food menu, and the cocktails are always diverse and delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Russell, the owner, is always there to greet us with a warm smile every time we visit. The outdoor garden is beautifully designed for the warmer months, while the retro indoor dining area offers a cozy atmosphere all year round. We absolutely love this place!
We hadn't visited Crosby's in years, but our friends persuaded us to give it another try, claiming it had improved significantly. Upon entering, we noticed that the place had been updated with a fresh, modern look. However, the music playing in the restaurant clashed with the sounds coming from the kitchen, making it quite noisy and difficult to hold a conversation. The outdoor seating area was charming and nicely decorated. The staff welcomed us warmly and was attentive throughout our visit. After we were seated, we had plenty of time to look over the menu. Unfortunately, there were no vegan or plant-based options available; the menu consisted entirely of classic diner and bar fare. When our food arrived, it was fairly average—nothing to write home about. The French fries were soggy, and the fish was overcooked and greasy. The three-star rating reflects the courteous staff and the cleanliness of the facility.
We went out to breakfast at Crosbys on Saturday morning. We waited for a table to be cleared to sit down and then waited about 15 minutes to place an order. My wife ordered a large orange juice. I said I would also like some OJ. The food was okay but greasy. The bill came and we were charged $4.50 four times for the two orange juices. They said they put the OJ in a large glass (12oz) so they charge double for it. We paid $18.00 for two glasses of OJ that was out of a carton and not even fresh squeezed. What a joke....never in there again. The servers response, sorry, that 's the way we do it.
Shrimp tacos were delicious but only two of them with beans and rice for $20 which is a bit steep; additional taco was like $5-6. My buddy had a patty melt and enjoyed it as well.
