Cynthia's Kitchen - Independence

I ordered various flavored cupcakes and a mini pecan pie and sweet potato pie. The cupcakes were moist and yummy and my son has asked when can I go back to get him more sweet potato pies! I will be buying very frequently! Also, Cynthia was very nice and friendly!

We got curbside takeout tonight and OMG it was all sooooo good! We had the grilled pollo machete, potato and chorizo machete, al pastor torta, and chicken and steak fajitas. Everything was so good! The machetes were like the most amazing oozy cheesy quesadilla. All of the sides/accoutrements were also on point creamy refried beans, freshly made tortillas and tortilla chips, delicious and varied salsas, fluffy rice. We also had tres leches cake for dessert which was so sweet and good. We are stuffed! We will be back!

The most authentic I've had in Independence. truly a great restaurant. I recommend this restaurant over any other Mexican restaurant. great service and food is really good.

Amazing pizza with dough so soft I want it to be made into a pillow for me to sleep on. A newer popup that started last year and has been at a couple different locations around Seattle! Seriously though, you need to get yourself a slice of their pizza. The dough is tender and has a good chew! My favorite was the anchovy pizza; good balance between the fish and the garlic sauce with a surprise drizzle of hot chili oil. Pepperoni is solid, you know it's a good quality pep when they're little cups! I would also recommend eating the truffle pizza first because the flavor is so light. Eating that after the anchovy and pep was a mistake because both those flavors are bold so I missed a lot of the truffle notes. The menu has been expanding since they had their first popup so I'm excited to see what flavors they do in the future!
