The service was friendly and accommodating, making it a great spot for groups. We dined in the conference room and enjoyed delicious fish dishes. I had the brown sugar glazed salmon with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes, while my spouse ordered the redfish with rice and veggies. Both meals were incredibly tasty; I couldn't even bring myself to share a bite of my salmon with my husband because it was too good to part with. The portion size of my dish was a bit on the smaller side, but the flavor more than made up for it. His meal, on the other hand, was properly portioned. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience despite the slight issue with portion size.

I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, although my husband was not as impressed. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice decor, especially considering it is located inside a Bass Pro shop. We were seated by a large fireplace with a view of an aquarium that covered half of the wall. To our left, we could see the patio and lakefront. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant served warm rustic bread with a delicious cinnamon glaze. While it is a bit on the pricey side, I believe it is worth it. As I dined, I couldn't help but imagine that this would have been a favorite spot for Ernest Hemingway if he were still alive and living in Kansas City.

My fiancé and I finally decided to check this place out. We were kind of skeptical because we thought it be really expensive. Turns out they had very decent prices and being a Florida girl I was so happy to find somewhere that had Grouper in the state of Missouri and it was fantastic! My fiancé also had the bison burger and alligator appetizer with the spicy breading... Both of those were also great! We will definitely be eating there more often :

The restaurant itself is just as entertaining as Bass Pro Shop, with its themed decor and atmosphere. The highlight is a massive 40 foot long, 10 foot high aquarium filled with neon yellow fish swimming above the bar. You could spend your entire dinner just admiring the decorations and spotting new things with each glance. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside by the manmade lake, the atmosphere is clean, vibrant, and cozy. The service is top-notch as well. Now, let's talk about the menu. It's huge and reasonably priced. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find plenty of options for me. My favorite was the spinach salad with raspberry, blue cheese, and caramelized nuts, as well as the chippers appetizer (a side of homemade potato chips with BBQ spice). My husband, who is from New England, loved the Grouper Reuben and the New England Clam Chowder. The portions are generous – a loaded baked potato side is only $3! And don't even get me started on the free sugar bread with whipped butter – it's so delicious and filling. The staff even gave us extra loaves to take home, which we turned into French Toast the next morning. I can't express how much I adore this random restaurant. I love you!
