Carrying forward the legacy, this place still serves food to most of the foreign travellers and during the season, the place is usually brimming with the tourist crowd.<br/ .<br/ .<br/ Coming on the food, it was basic Indian food. We did not really either liked it much or did not even hated it. It was kinda neutral.<br/ .<br/ .<br/ We had a full course meal with Paneer butter masala, Jeera Aloo, Vegetable Pulav, Raita, Bread, Salad, Cold Coffee and ice cream.<br/ .<br/ .<br/ Liked the rice and raita.<br/ .<br/ .<br/ They also offer cultural performances to enjoy with the food. There are pictures of the royal family with a description written on the behalf of Maharaja Jai Singh placed all over the place.
Malai kofta is to die for.<br/ <br/ Place design for serving food to foreigners. Enjoy dinner with folk dance, <br/ Food is with mild spices. Service is excellent
The interior was spotless and had a cozy feel, with framed photos of K. Jai Singh and his family members on the walls. Each photo had information about the person's background and their connection to Singh. The restaurant was named 'Indiana' because Singh received a degree from Purdue University in Indiana. The tables were set with dark blue tablecloths and red napkins, and the wicker seating was comfortable. As the only customers, we received exceptional service from our attentive host. We started with delicious stuffed naan and I enjoyed a half tandoori chicken, which was tender and flavorful. My friend had a tasty vegetable dish. The total bill for our meal and drinks came to about Rs 1200, which is considered expensive in India but reasonable for the quality of the restaurant. Before we left, our host invited us to return in the evening for music and dancing.
A royal place to visit for Lunch and Dinner. Has a very lovely ambience with puppet shows and kalbeliya dancers performing in evening. Ordered veg north Indian and it was worth every penny. Located just oppsite Jai Club this place is must for people who dine out at lavish places. Prices are high but worth it. Must visit.
The restaurant is good, with friendly staff and delicious food, albeit a bit pricey. The highlight was the live folk dance performance, possibly a Kaalbheliya dance. The must-try item is the hot and spicy Laal Maas, served with fresh bread. My personal experience was a bit strange as someone got drunk and caused a scene, but it was not the fault of the restaurant staff.
