Billfish Grill - Indian Beach

I have dined at this restaurant twice before and today my family and I decided to get takeout. Unfortunately, my daughter was treated very rudely by the owner when she picked up the order. When we got home, which is only a quarter mile away, we discovered that the food was cold, the chips were stale (and there were only four for the lobster dip), and the overall quality was disgusting. Even my grandson refused to eat the kids' Mac and cheese. I will never eat at this restaurant again and will be sure to inform everyone I know about how overpriced and unsatisfactory the experience was.

Beware… this is a novella of a review?Wow!!! Gold stars abound, especially to Cindy, Mike, Cindy’s husband “the cook”… 100% crazy amazing staff!A dear friend from Wilmington came to take me to dinner for my birthday. Original plan got scrapped so snap decision was made to try Billfish. BEST ONE EVER!!!We entered were treated like esteemed celebrity guests. By the time we were seated and blinked, the most original “welcome” was placed before us … collards and adorable bite sized cornbread muffins … the birthday feast was ON!We drank, we ate, we laughed… EVERYTHING was exceptional. Who would’ve thought… fried okra in your salad? Brussels sprouts that looked like they’d caught on fire were downright fluffy and tastier than any sprout I could’ve imagined. Snow crab legs were a delight, plentiful (thank you for the extra cluster). We laughed laughed at the sheer amount of food on the table. (Thank you to whoever washed ALL of those dishes.)Dessert? Of course… it was a birthday celebration after all just no room left so we ordered Key Lime pie AND the chocolate mousse to go… the mousse came in its own GLASS jar! (Both would have won 1st place at any country fair, but I could live on the contents of that jar. Took “delicious” to a whole new level.)The entire experience was so, unexpected… Cindy and Mike were over the top! Every bite could have come from a 5-star eatery.A million thank you’s to Madi for the splurge that made me feel loved special and the same for the “OMG” outstanding meal.Billfish, you’ve got my vote! You’ll be remembered, and recommended, for a very long time. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Every ASPECT OF THIS VENUE IS 5 STARS. from THE 'LOWEST EMPOLYEE, TO THE OWNER THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. the FOOD IS AMAZING AND THE DRINKS ARE SATISFYING AT EVERY LEVEL. the FOOD IS ALWAYS PREPARED WITH LOVE AND CARE. the GENERAL ATMOSPHERE IS WELCOMING. every EMPLOYEE TREATS YOU AS IF YOU WERE THEIR BEST FRIEND.i 'VE BEEN HERE MANY TIMES AND NEVER HAD A BAD TIME. i LOVE COMING HERE AND i love THE EMPLOYEES. if YOU 'RE ON BOGUE ISLAND AND IN THE SALTER PATH INDIAN BEACH AREA THIS IS A MUST STOP. Way overpriced for the mediocre quality but the service is very good and the restaurant itself looks

This is our favorite restaurant to visit when we go to the beach. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly.
