Feedback gevenMore lively place on Mother's Day. competent staff, but overworked and tried to cover too many tables. they work as a team. pizza was excellent, the carbonara needed more sauce. the huhn parmigiano was perfect. the prices are comparable and that dessert was heavenly. tiramisu from the cheesecake factory.
Have eaten here since I was a baby. My grandparents would always have their anniversary parties there growing up. Took my wife and kids there tonight and made sure my youngest got a Shirley Temple Drink.
We just ordered pizza, so I can't speak to the quality of the other dishes. Personally, I prefer a regular thick, airy crust pizza with a creamy sauce and no noticeable pools of oil on top. Vivio's pizza has a thinner crust, less sauce, some oil, and a floppy texture. But it was delightful! Our group, consisting of both adults and children, really focused on enjoying the flavors as we sat closely together. The service was also very good. My only complaints are that the pizzas are a bit pricier than I think they should be, and the specialty combination pizzas don't offer much variety but are an easy option to order. For example, if a specialty pizza has three toppings, it costs the same as custom-ordering a pizza with three toppings.
I took my father-in-law and a friend out to dinner since we wouldn’t be able to celebrate Father’s Day together. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation at the bar and received excellent service at our table. It’s best to arrive early to secure a table, especially during the summer. The food was really good!
I can’t say enough good things about this place! It has a dark and cozy atmosphere, and the bar offers a great selection of drinks and spirits. However, the pizza truly captured my attention. As city dwellers, we’re always on the lookout for delicious non-chain restaurants. We tried the three meat pizza and the feta cheese pizza, and both were fantastic! The balance of meat, cheese, and sauce was perfect, and the crust was simply delicious. I’m amazed I hadn't thought of this before—it’s so incredibly good!
