El Pastorcito - Indianapolis

Decent food, fast service on a weeknight. We ordered huevos rancheros and carne asada. When we got there only one other table but it quickly filled up. Food came out quickly. Only one server but she was efficient. Will try there again.

Was looking for a spot to ease that Mexican food craving and found this spot in a small strip center not to far away from home. Due to the favorable Yelp reviews here I am. It is a tiny spot with six booth tables and four, four top tables. Simple interior with ceramic tile floor and wainscot. There are two decorative wood awnings, and two flat screen TV's with dueling shows. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly and helpful waitress, I placed my Togo order and waited with an ice cold Diet Coke. We ordered the chicken fajitas and they were well prepared and quite tasty! This is a great neighborhood spot with good food!

I honestly didn't expect to give this place a 5 star rating when I ordered take out, but what a pleasant surprise! I ordered a vegetarian burrito, side order of refried beans and chips with pico and guacamole. In the dead of winter, everything was so fresh and it was clearly made from scratch. The guacamole was the real thing and no weird creamy filler (as some restaurants add, which is a real pet peeve of mine). I was very impressed with the burrito, which was filled with fajita style veggies and Mexican cheese...it also came with rice as a side! The portions were HUGE, I had 2 full meals from the order. Their prices can't be beat, either! I can't speak to their authenticity (I'm a born and raised Indiana gal) but the flavors and freshness will keep me coming back.

The lady that takes your order was really nice but about it there was a cockroach in the wall the guy that's in the kitchen did not seemed very happy, do not recommend this place at all.

Walked in, the waitress made eye contact with me and walked to the back, so I sat myself nobody came out to greet me. My friend joined me and we sat for a few, their were two other tables who had menu and drinks we left b/c a racist establishment such as this will not receive our money.
