You can get a variety of a bowl, salad, gyro, plate, pita, and etc. The falafels are vegan and pretty good! I like the fresh food and abundance of seasoned veggies. I also love that they have rice. The price was decent but compared to other places similar to it (Bibibop, Chipotle, Qdoba, Subway), the price is a little higher than deserved. The service is the one thing lacking. The workers were polite but you could tell they were understaffed as it was just one person handling all the in store orders and one person handling pick-ups. The food bar was a little messy because that person was so overworked. The line was a bit long because of this and I blame this on the management.
The food is tasty and fresh. The portions are generous if you load up on vegetables. The tahini sauce and cilantro sauce are my favorites. Everyone in our vegan family finds something they like to eat here. It’s great for carry out. The inside dining area is nothing special. There is outdoor seating along the Monon.
They are very in tune with the vegan customers needs. They sanitize after making meat orders if you let them know you’re vegan. The food is delicious and they have a ton of vegan options. They’ve been open 12 days and I’ve been there 4 days in a row now. Pretty inexpensive. My children love it as well.
Pro: Pitas are made fresh . Tzatziki sauce was pretty goodCon: Nothing else has a true Mediterranean flavor
This is set up like a qdoba where you pick your meats and toppings. I first found Garbanzo on a trip to Purdue. I enjoyed it enough that I searched for a location that is closer to me. The Purdue location was definitely nicer and more friendly. The food is very good. I enjoyed a plate where I could mix things together at my own liking. I did add falafel which were were very good! I will definitely be back!
