Old B movies for free with attractive drunk specials. Highly recommend this spot. Oh and the food is top notch...
Wonderful place to view a movie and just a lovely ambience! The people that work at the Kan Kan are very nice as well .
Great film choices. Fun staff. Drinking is allowed and provided by wonderful bar staff.
So nice they named it twice... Kan Kan, like it 's name, has multiple facets with inspiration from the likes of Kurt Vonnegut, independent theatre from around the world, and an unlikely group of locals who joined forces to create an Indy gem. Self described as a three screen arthouse cinema, film education complex, and European inspired [brasserie], Kan Kan is a unique institution. In addition to showing critically acclaimed films, you don 't need an admit one to check out the menu powered by Abbi Merris (James Beard recognized chef with a resume boasting Recess and Bluebeard). With those credentials, we were not shy when we ordered, and the results were all two reel. From the oysters, to the charred broccolini we were delighted from the start. The pork buns, sweet corn chowder, and compressed watermelon salad were salivatingly (new word alert) scrumptious. The drinks were complex, yet approachable, and refreshing. Recommend the 'Cruel Summer ' for a drink that makes you pick it up as soon as you put it down. Extra fun is featured on Monday with a live dj (follow @kidforever for some great tunes). Overall, Kan Kan offers sophisticated and delicious options in a relaxed atmosphere. Gold stars for creating a much needed space in Indy!
Came here for a viewing of P2 Love the venue. Very nice and clean. Well stocked bar with pro level mixologist in the house! I can't wait to return for food and more fun.
