Late Harvest Kitchen - Indianapolis

Food and ambience were excellent. Our waiter was patient and always available to us. We loved the sirloin and magi mani. The crab leg appetizer was out of our comfort zone but not disappointed we tried something new. We love this place and the ever evolving menu.

Meal was hot and delicious! Server was rude—interrupted diner conversation mid-sentence. Server seemed determined to get the table turned over quickly.

I have a mixed opinion about Late Harvest. The pluses: Appetizers and Sides are excellent. The Minneapolis Potatoes, the salads are outstanding. Outdoor dining ambience is lovely in the warmer seasons. Lighting is very subtle, not too bright. The minuses for me: terrible choice of music (rock and roll hits instead of dinner music of some type). Even when we asked if they could change the selection, they really didn't understand and nothing changed. The entrees are pretty uninspired. The $54 ribeye steak we ordered had no seasoning at all and sat in a puddle of wine sauce. So, if I go again, I will order appetizers and definitely the potatoes!

I believe I had indicated this was a bday celebration and we got no recognition of that. Food was good but had to mark down the service because of this.
