Super Tortas Estilo Barrio

I ordered two tortas and a large fries to go. I have to say, these are the best tortas I've ever tasted. The large fries are definitely enough to feed four people. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely adore their sandwiches! I tried the California sandwich, and it was fantastic! The Acapulco is incredible as well! They offer a massive torta for those who are up for the challenge of a gigantic sandwich piled high with everything you can imagine. It looks absolutely mouthwatering, and people rave about it—I had it a while back and could barely finish half of it. The prices are fantastic too; sandwiches are around $10, and honestly, you could easily split one between two people. If you love Cuban sandwiches and amazing food, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

They do provide a trio of sauces and a jar of fresh jalapeños for patrons to enjoy; however, there are no complimentary chips and salsa or cheesy dishes that we're accustomed to in Tex-Mex. This place definitely offers a different experience. The staff was incredibly helpful; when I asked for recommendations, they suggested the #1 or #23 without hesitation. The #23 sounded like a meat lover's dream, so I went with the #1, which featured fried steak, ham, cheese, peppers, guacamole, and a mysterious sauce on a lightly toasted loaf of bread. This sandwich was massive and bursting with flavor. Apart from the occasional piece of fried fat or gristle, it was fantastic. I had no idea sandwiches were part of the Mexican cuisine! I also ordered a steak taco topped with onions, cilantro, cheese, and sour cream. It arrived on double-layered corn tortillas, piping hot; it was delicious, though I'm not particularly fond of corn tortillas. If you’re looking to try something different and enjoy good food, I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of Mexico.

Update September 2023. I'm sad because something is different. Since the last couple of times I went there the quality and the taste of the Tortas has changed, the place used to be more clean, now is more expensive, maybe an administration change? Different owners? I mean, it's good but it was the best of the best in the past.

If I wanna torta definitely I am going back. And the price is fantastic
