Taqueria Don Luis - Indianapolis

Al pastor tacos are the best. 1 star because today when I visited with my husband we got scolded by the head of staff. Unprofessional unacceptable behavior.There's limited seating for the restaurants in Saraga so people typically sit in Luis' area. I ordered food from both Asian Snack Don Luis'. We paid and left a tip. My husband asked for a fork and knife from the cashier. She gave him one. Then a man walked out to our table scolded the cashier in front of us. In her defense we said we ordered food from Luis'. Hesaid we couldn't have a fork and knife because it was used for the food from Asian Snack.After that my food just didn't taste as good.

Instead of eating the small selection of food at the Tamal fest, I decided instead to get food at the taqueria inside the store. My biggest complaint is that it took a long time for them to prepare my order. They did seem to make everything fresh, and there was a decent amount of people ahead of me but it wasn't obvious until they started calling out orders. The food was very authentic to Mexican cuisine and I left feeling filled. The amount of food you get for the cost is also great. Would recommend you come on a not busy day.

Hands down the best tacos I had in indy! ingredients are fresh and the meat is very well seasoned. great selection of tacos and other Mexican food supplements. the staff is friendly and very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing tacos, especially the asada tacos, they are the best tacos I ever had. the service is amazing and friendly.

Unfortunately we came too late to try the food. it was in a food market, so I expected it to be fresh. there is no dining room. better to get out.
