The District Tap - Indianapolis

It is one of our favorite places to eat. Great food and great service, plus multiple TVs to enjoy every televised sporting events.

Great atmosphere, good food, good beer selection. I’m a fan of DT,, However,, service was definitely lacking today. Definitely not a busy Friday, sat at the bar and was immediately asked for my drink order. After that ,, nothing,, over the next 20 minutes, no food menu, no check in on if I needed anything,, just a receipt sitting in a glass in front of me waiting

We were here for a birthday celebration and the service was slow and not very responsive had to make request repeatedly, also we were outright lied too about charges and holds on our credit cards and surprised by a 24% mandatory gratutity. I have no problem tipping but I'm paying for my food and service is expected when I dine in a restaurant. Tipping is for over and above service and not poor service just because I showed up.

Our server said she only bworks once or twice a week but she was knowledgeable and gave a great vibe. I ended up laughing with her talking with her and the food was surprisingly delicious.

Food was kind of bland. Don't get the pork nachos, they had no flavor.
