I LOVED their rice and beans that comes with the plate, I can’t tell what they put it in but it’s sort of sweet and it’s really good. The cabbage was seasoned well too. You get really large portions which justifies the cost. Overall, I was pleased and would come here again.
I like the place. It was my first time always pass by when out and about for work. I am a true Jamaican born and raise. I always try Jamaican restaurants. So far good. The bammy I got was hard as rocks. They refund my money for it. Not to many restaurants sell it or breadfruit. Thank you. I will come back. My plate is a large Jerk Chicken.
This is the best Jamaican food in the Los Angeles area. It is always fresh and perfectly prepared. I eat here at least two times a week. Everything I have gotten from the menu is delicious. My favorites are the Escovitch fish, curried chicken and the jerk chicken. I must warn you though, the jerk is hot-not kinda hot-spicy hot! They never disappoint!
For the second year in a row, I ordered from Hungry Joe's during a visit to Inglewood. I love the food. This time my friend and I ordered stew peas, brown stew fish, a side of oxtail, and a beef patty. The full platters come with veggies, rice and plantain. All told, it was enough food for a huge meal with plenty of leftovers. The brown stew fish was wonderfully seasoned and moist cooked to perfection. The stew peas were delicious one of the best bean dishes I've ever had. The staff is delightful and makes customers feel special.
Had a very good experience in here with my girlfriend. The food was served quick and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are reasonable.
