Stopped by here 3 times on our trip. Everything was authentic and delicious. Our favorite was the red red and fried plantains. Definitely worth trying out. Wished we lived closer!
Great food. I think we go a couple of times a month. The banku and egusi, sooo good. Get the full experience when you eat with your hands.
We where visiting Los Angeles and decided to try all the West African restaurants around.. this place is our top pick, customer service friendly, food came out quick and the food was just soo yummy, we had fufu with groundnut soup, pepper soup and orka soup.. just amazing. To bad they don't have a store in Portland OR.. great job ?
The fufu was amazing, and the groundnut soup delicious. They clearly use a good amount of plantain in their fufu instead of just cassava, which is how I prefer it. I lived in Ghana from 2010 2012 and this tasted exactly as I remember the dish. I highly recommend trying it and if you're adventurous, use your right hand (instead of a spoon) to eat the fufu so it's truly authentic! Will definitely be coming here anytime I'm in town.
