Mary Mount - Inn on the Square, Keswick

Very good hotel surrounded by amazing nature! Very nice and helpful owner and staff, delicious dinner (three times in series i was ordering the hake-filet). Very cozy restaurant with huge windows facing the beatiful scenery outside. One evening we were sitting outside in the pavillion, having the hake-dish. This was the best evening of our two weeks in england. We booked the deluxe double room, it was so amazing! Next time we are in england, we will be back for sure! Thank you for the good time we spent at derwent water.

Went there for the lunch. Used the loo first and the floor was covered in urine, partner said men’s loo smelt badly of urine too. Tables were dirty and the windows. The place looked dirty in general. Food mediocre and very overpriced.

Decent parking, proximity to Lodore Falls (to the south west, along the road until the wooden gate), has food drink in the bar. Quick service for a few drinks. Good attitude. Food drinks: Quick service for some shandies J2O Service: 5
