Columbus At Mitre 10 Gisborne

Lots of parking. Have to walk through Mitre 10 to get in and out. Would be nice to have a separate entrance. Lots of seating inside of various styles, and outside patio style and communal by the children's playground. Friendly service. Good selection of cabinet and menu items. Were advised of a half hour wait on the food but waited just over an hour with quite a large discrepancy between dishes, eg 20 mins between 1st and last dish being served which made for an uncomfortable polite wait before eating together. Meals were delicious though and of a good portion size. Loved the loaded wedges, although sauces were not served on the side as requested. Will go back when not in a hurry due to uncertainty for meal delay times, but will likely go back.

This place is amazing!! Lovely coffee in Mitre 10 garden. Coffee was excellent and there is a good variety for meals too. Recommended! We had large flat white with hazelnut syrup for 8,10 or 8,90?

Had brunch here during the Christmas holidays and although busy the service was pretty quick. Food was great and so was the service.

My favourite place to go for a nice coffee and breakfast/lunch! Great playground for the kids to be entertained, too, while having a delicious coffee or spicy chai. The cabinet selection is great and drinks and food are served super quickly which can be essential with a starving kid! Staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!!
