The staff are awesome aswell, we sat outside and it was abit cold but they offered us small blankets, turned on the heaters, pulled down the shades and we stayed for around 4 hours, enjoying food and drinks and each others company Cant wait to go back again!
We booked as a last moment thing, about 2 hours before. Hand a nice seating, overlooking the harbour. Staff were very attentive, a very lovely lass did most of our servicing. Highly recommend the starter meal of goat cheese. Also the steak (having it rare) was exceptional, with the polenta chips as a side. The wife had the spicy chicken with asparagus salad side. Desert with great coffee, so 2.5 hrs well spent. Spoilt at this restaurant.
Recommended by Tony, proprietor of The Gisborne Club, we weren’t disappointed. Definitely catch the sunset from the outdoor space! The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had and the desserts are to die for.
A mid week dinner date was decided so my first choice was always is) The Crawford Road kitchen. Amy the front of house staff are always so friendly, calm give the place a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food is beautiful, delicious faultless. By far my favourite place too dine in Gizzy. Thanks team
The restaurant overlooks a marina. The food and service were good. We had the dinner mussels made with a broth of turmeric, coconut, coriander and served with garlic toast $20), the pan fried fish $30), Spanish salad $12), cauliflower and pumpkin salad $12) and for dessert the flourless chocolate cake served which is served with ice cream. All were good. Reservations are a good idea, as they do get booked up.
