Davidsons - Innisfil

We decided to eat here because reviews were good. We should have known the food would not taste very fresh after we heard the beeps from the microwave. The meet in the stuffed yorkshire pudding tasted like it had been heated in a microwave and was very chewy. The fish and chips was also disappointing. The fish was very dry and the batter was very oily. The fries tasted like they had been reheated. My spouse had the sirloin and all he could say was at least the mashed potatoes were ok. Disappointing meal. Wish we had gone somewhere else for dinner. Would not eat here again.

We had such an outstanding dinner here, I was kicking myself that we didn't take pics! I had a seafood risotto special, with grilled octopus, clams, muscles and a gorgeous either jumbo prawn or small lobster tail on top (I wasn't sure but cooked perfectly! , two of us had salmon with a honey maple butter sauce, my daughter had parpadelle bolognese and mom had the escargot. Such a yummy Caesar salad and every one of us got a homemade dessert made by the owner who also happens to be the Mayor of the town, AND makes all the pies YUM!!

Small restaurant for people who didn't make reservations anywhere else on their holiday stay at Friday harbour lol food was ok and the little cute house with homey decorations served us just right.

Pleasant surprise and definitely worth a return visit. Small cottage like dining atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of a large metropolitan area. Reasonably sized menu with quality food offerings at a fair price. Had the feel of a real neighbourhood pub. Worth checking out.

Fantastic restaurant because: dan the owner is friendly and accommodating. Sheila our waitress was perfect efficient, friendly, helpful and attentive. The menu was large enough not to be limiting but small enough not to be over whelming. The order was taken timeously and food delivered within a short time and was hot plus all brought at the same time. My friends had fish and chips which they loved even compared to other restaurants where they've eaten fish and chips. Another friend had liver and onions which i sampled and it was excellent. I had the burger which was cooked to perfection. It was juicy, excellent quality meat and had all the toppings. The fries were really outstanding.
