Feedback gevenNice place with sea view, but the food came very fast. The Schollestuecke had to be searched, drowned by a lot of Sosse and much too little for the price. The steak was too tough, for 27 euros I get somewhere else's fillet and this is supposed to be a daily offer, naughty. Operation was nice, but Lockere sayings instead of quality. That was the first and last time there.
We have been driving to Poel for almost 14 years every year for a week and were now surprised after 2 years of abstinence that here is a new restaurant on this fantastic scenery. The previous restaurant was also good but no longer. The more we were looking forward to. At first, we noticed very positively that now glassy wind protection is attached, which does not in any way gloomy the great view, but now protects well against the stiff breeze that sometimes prevails. Especially at north to northwesterly winds, the pike often stood there. Now you sit perfectly and the owners are real Italians as we were allowed to notice. Very nice and accommodating, even if the restaurant is amazing during the good summer days. The food came relatively fast and was incredibly delicious! The children had pasta in butter with tomato sauce, the woman chicken breast with barbecue vegetables and an oven potato with sour cream and I on the first day calfscharpaccio with tuna sauce. The plates were sooo beautifully dressed, the portions were exactly at the point and therefore also worth their money. On the second day Rumpsteak was in Gorgonzola sauce and a lobster on band noodles. This was also very delicate again. On the third day we tried a great large mixed salad and a cod fillet with rosemary salads. All around we were very satisfied and felt very comfortable and welcome. You're welcome next year.
We were in Vella’s several times because we were so excited. Nice bosses with a lot of humor. Tuna Tartar was sensational. As a dessert we had Casata siciliana with fresh pistachios. Cocktails overlooking the sea are the absolute hammer. Well eaten, drunk and spent a good time. We're coming back!
We have been advised in advance at the food selection and have opted for Lachscarpaccio in front, Entrecote (medium) and Grilled Salmon (recommendation of service). Carpaccio was very good( very good salmon). Grilled salmon a little but damn delicious, Entrecote mega juicy and really good in taste. What did not go is the permanent chief of the same; in Italian so that you feel a bit embarrassing as a guest. You could also hear without any language skills how the boss commands his employees.
Between our visit from a couple of years ago and today some pawns may be lying, but this has not changed the beautiful location on the island of Poel, not exactly spoiled. However, it is necessary to know that the price structure has changed sharply upwards, today one does not come around a main dish on average under just under EUR 3o.oo. I would, however, wish that the cook is able to roast a steak medium rare and to know that a entrecote and a rib-eye steak are one and the same. Both are on the map with different prices. The chosen food (Dorade Rumpsteal) did not give any reason to criticize it, only the chef's assailant has really knocked me off.
