One Cove Road - Inverclyde

The salad bowl was delicious, and the coffee and cake were also very good.

Since returning to Scotland last year, I have frequented One Cove Road numerous times with both vegan and non-vegan friends. The staff is exceptional, making sure to cater to every individual who walks through the door. The vegan menu options are impressive, with standout items like the lotus biscoff pancakes. They offer vegan milkshakes, dairy-free milk for hot drinks, vegan ice cream, and vegan cakes. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to discuss any dietary concerns you may have. The cafe is dog-friendly and located in a stunning setting. The only downside is that it can get quite busy, resulting in a short wait for a table. However, the team does a great job of keeping you informed and providing either a buzzer or taking a contact number. I can't recommend this place enough!

The cafe has a beautiful location and aesthetic, but I was disappointed to find that the salad labeled as vegan on the menu actually came with non-vegan dressing. Additionally, there were no vegan cake options available.

There are two options for lunch on the menu avocado toast and a quinoa salad. Here are almond/coconut/soya milk options for drinks both hot or cold. There is also a vegan cake at weekends only.

Fantastic eggs and smoked salmon at The Cove. Beautiful views of Gourock. Friendly waitstaff too!
