Seen this was under new management and tried it a couple of days ago!! Food was beautiful would definitely recommend and go again!!

Chinese Takeaway is under new management one of the best curry’s I’ve had in a long time.

Absolutely revolting and inedible sweet and sour chicken! It doesn’t even deserve a single star! The batter was excessively thick, overcooked, and tasted terrible—almost like it had gone bad! It was so hard that it could break teeth! I called to express my concerns, but the woman I spoke to was extremely rude, unapologetic, and simply unacceptable. She informed me that since I didn't complain on the night of delivery, there was nothing they could do. I tried to explain that I attempted to call, but the line was busy—likely because others were also complaining. However, her response was just to brush it off and say, "tough luck!" Well, I won’t stand for this; I’m reporting them to trading standards. They need to address their poor cooking standards and start compensating customers! The dreadful lack of respect for customers has to stop, and those staff involved need to be fired, or they’ll be out of business!

This used to be my go-to place, but the quality has been declining lately. The chips were terrible—some were overcooked and others were undercooked, resulting in a soggy, brown mess. The fish had a very strong fishy odor when I broke through the batter, and the batter on both the fish and sausage was far from crispy. The service was quick, and the curry sauce smelled nice, but that didn't matter much since I had nothing to dip in it. The overall experience was disappointing enough that I won't be returning—it's just not worth the risk.

The chips were soggy, and the curry sauce tasted just like the Bisto curry sauce you’d find in a Chinese takeout. I ordered a sausage supper, but it came with two small, unbattered breakfast sausages that you might find at a Wetherspoons. There was no salt on anything. When I called to complain, I was told that's just how the sausages are and then was dismissed with a goodbye. If you go to any other chip shop, their sausages are usually about 2.5 times longer and battered. Overall, I felt cheated and disappointed.
